On January 27, 2023, the world received thrilling news as Trong Hieu was announced as a participant in “Unser Lied für Liverpool,” the German national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2023. His entry, “Dare to Be Different,” is a testament to his artistic vision. Co-written with Norwegian singer-songwriter Elsie Bay and Dutch musicians Sasha Rangas and Stefan van Leijsen, the song carries a resonant message of unity and individuality, embedded within a catchy pop melody.
